Free NC Pre-K Program
Preparing young learners for kindergarten success.
We’re proud to offer NC Pre-K, a free, state-funded early learning program for eligible four-year-olds. Designed for children who may not otherwise have access to preschool, NC Pre-K provides high-quality, curriculum-based instruction that supports early literacy, math, social-emotional development, and essential kindergarten readiness skills.
The program operates on the public school calendar and gives children a strong, structured start to their educational journey, building confidence, curiosity, and a love of learning that lasts.

Learning at Excel 7 extends far beyond the classroom. Through themed celebrations, hands-on activities, and community engagement, we make every season special and meaningful for our students.
Classroom Parties
From Valentine’s Day to St. Patrick’s Day and Halloween, we bring holidays to life through crafts, games, and connection.
Special Attire Days
From Wacky Hair Day to Rodeo Week, we make learning fun with themed dress-up days tied to events, holidays, and weekly lessons.
Fun Within the Community
Through special visits from community helpers and local professionals, children get to learn about the world around them.
These experiences help children connect what they learn in class to the world around them, building confidence and compassion with every adventure.
