Free Early Head Start Program

Excel 9 is proud to partner with North Carolina’s Early Head Start program to provide no-cost, high-quality care and education for eligible families with children under age three. This program supports infants and toddlers through nurturing routines, developmentally appropriate learning experiences, and meaningful family engagement.
Early Head Start strengthens both child development and parent involvement, helping families build a strong foundation for preschool readiness and lifelong learning.

Special Attire Days
From Wacky Hair Day to Rodeo Week, we make learning fun with themed dress-up days tied to events, holidays, and weekly lessons.
Fun Within the Community
Through special visits from community helpers and local professionals, children get to learn about the world around them.
These experiences help children connect what they learn in class to the world around them, building confidence and compassion with every adventure.
